JMMB Group Hosts Virtual Financial Empowerment Series, January 22- 27

JMMB Group will host the sixth staging of its signature financial empowerment series, JMMB Elevate, from January 22 to January 27 at 8 p.m., on its social media platforms (YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and Instagram). The weeklong financial empowerment series will feature a cadre of experts on its virtual stage including: Keisha Bailey, financial strategist and CEO of Profit Jumpstarter and Anna Palomino, the ‘money coach’ and author, both of whom are no strangers to the event; alongside newcomers, Demetress Fairman, financial education content creator, Stuart Stimpson, attorney-at-law and partner at Hart, Muirhead and Fatta, and Alicia Lyttle, CEO and co-founder of CEO of Internet Income Jamaica. 

The lineup will also feature JMMB experts in the form of Michelle Sinclair-Doyley, manager, client partnership and education, Oshane McLeggon, financial solutions manager, Peter Thompson, chief client investment officer and Shani Duncan-Falconer, senior corporate manager, SME Resource Centre, who will lend their wealth of experience to the discussion.

Kerry-Ann Stimpson, chief marketing officer at JMMB Group, shared, “Although this year’s staging of JMMB Elevate will take a different format, the series maintains its objective of financial empowerment and inspiration and is chockful of financial insight, practical pointers and seeks to give actionable takeaways to empower individuals to achieve their goals and level up their ‘money game’.” She adds,” For many persons January is seen as the perfect opportunity to reset and refocus on their goals, as such JMMB Elevate is leveraging this energy to provide the tools, resources and expertise to help individuals to kickstart their journey.” 

Setting the foundation for the weeklong financial empowerment series on January 22, are money coach, Palomino and JMMB financial educator, Sinclair-Doyley. The duo will help individuals to understand their relationship with money and outline steps to create a winning mindset to achieve their goals.  

While on Day Two, January 23, Demetress Fairman, financial education content creator and JMMB’s Oshane McLeggon, will share pointers on budgeting in hard times. Fairman, outlined he is excited to be a part of this year’s lineup as a “manifestation he made 2 years ago on social media,” is now coming full circle with him joining the JMMB Elevate stage, to share insights from his own personal journey. 

Attorney-at-law, Stuart Simpson will bring his expertise to bear on Day Three, January 24, delving into the ‘ins and outs’ of real estate purchasing, to ensure buyers and investors make a solid investment.

Seasoned financial experts, Bailey and Thompson, on Day Four, will share investment opportunities that can help investors achieve their goals in a high interest rate environment and share a local economic outlook, that can give valuable insight for investing. 

To close out the weeklong financial empowerment series, on January 27 at 10 a.m., Alicia Lyttle, CEO and co-founder of Internet Income Jamaica, a company that has empowered over 25,000 Jamaicans in digital entrepreneurship and Shani Duncan-Falconer, senior corporate manager, JMMB SME Resource Centre will delve into the topic, ‘Transitioning Your Side Hustle to an Established Business.’ With the Prime Minister and other stakeholders touting Jamaica’s remarkable economic rebound from the COVID-19 pandemic and the overlapping global economic shocks, now is seen as a good time to open a business. The entrepreneurial pair who has supported the growth of hundreds of businesses combined, will share nuggets on starting a side hustle and pointers on how to scale and grow your business to transition it to an established business, and building your personal brand as the face of your business. 

JMMB Group marketing exec highlighted, “With the now all-virtual format more individuals from anywhere can participate, whether from the comfort of their homes or even as they balance their day.
