6 Ways to Tell if an Email Is Really From JMMB

We have been seeing an increase in instances where unscrupulous persons have been sending fraudulent emails, purporting to be coming from a financial institution to unsuspecting individuals.
From time to time, JMMB will send emails to our clients, so here is how you can determine if an email is from JMMB:
- Check the sender's email address (not just the sender’s name) to ensure it matches the JMMB domain name '@jmmb.com’.
- Hover over links in the email to ensure it matches a JMMB website ".jmmb.com";
- Look out for possible spelling and grammatical errors.
- Are you being asked to provide personal information regarding your accounts with us? — JMMB will never ask you to enter any personal details about your accounts, usernames or passwords;
- Emails that ask you to take urgent action can be suspicious, contact us at 876–998–5662 to validate these requests; and
- If an email sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Be wary of emails that promise unrealistic rewards or benefits.
