Entrep, TV Host & Renowned Authour, Paul Brunson, Headlines JMMB’s ‘Elevate’ Event

9 January 2019

Paul Brunson, entrepreneur, author, USA Today columnist and television host, will be the main speaker at the upcoming JMMB Group event, dubbed, Elevate, a financial empowerment event.

The event, which is slated for Saturday, January 19 at 2 p.m. in Kingston; is a part of the company’s goal-getter series – which includes dynamic lifestyle events, centred on wealth creation.

The ‘Elevate’ event is designed to equip and empower attendees to be deliberate about achieving their goals in 2019; offering practical pointers, presentations from experts and personal financial planning sessions, on location, with members of the JMMB team.

Also sharing the stage on the occasion, will be Rochelle Cameron, motivational speaker and assistant vice president, human resources & public relations at Jamaica Broilers Group Limited, who is no stranger to these empowerment platforms. Rochelle, who is also an attorney-at-law, recently made a bold shift in her career in August 2018, and has transitioned to her current position.

During his presentation, Brunson will share on wealth creation, using his extended experience - drawn from founding and exiting three (3) successful businesses, hosting television shows and spending years in providing coaching - to guide and provide insight for the audience. While Cameron, who has had an equally dynamic career, will use the platform to lead the charge in encouraging the audience to ‘level-up’ in 2019, and prepare to take bold steps towards achieving their goals and living the lives they envision for themselves.

In explaining further about the event, Felecia Willams, corporate manager, marketing, at JMMB, said, “This event is timely and is a great follow-up to the financial empowerment events we had hosted last year; as, on this occasion, we are catering to a wider audience and allowing the attendees to take their wealth creation a step further.” Williams adds, “The start of a new year is often associated with new beginnings and deep introspection, which typically give rise to new actions and approaches. It is against this background, that JMMB has been intentional in conceptualising the details of this event, which is designed to help the participants create wealth, by partnering to provide the expertise and putting the necessary processes in place. Attendees can, therefore, take actionable steps, like opening an account or starting their financial planning conversation on the spot, if they desire, as a first step towards achieving their dreams.” With a holistic approach to wealth creation, through this event, JMMB will also use the occasion to share ways that individuals can achieve personal growth to lead successful lives.

Participants will have the opportunity, during the session, to engage in lively conversation with the speakers and network with other like-minded attendees, with the aim of being empowered to take charge of their future and chart a path towards financial freedom.

Williams indicated that although the event is free to the public, interested persons are required to register online, via the JMMB’s social media channels, as at January 8, or by going to the link, https://bit.ly/2F32sSw. Further event details will be provided, via these media, following registration. Early registration is encouraged, as spaces are limited.  “As part of the registration process, individuals are invited to share briefly, their financial goals and steps being taken to achieve them, so that they can begin the process of becoming a JMMB goal-getter in 2019,” outlined the marketing executive.

This event is in keeping with the company's objective to provide financial education to its clients, and the investing public, on how to achieve their financial goals, by pairing lifestyle-related topics with financial matters.
