JMMB Elevate 3.0 Set to Fire Up Goal Achievement in the New Year

 The now signature New Year financial empowerment event, JMMB Elevate 3.0, is slated for January 15-16. The two – day event themed, “Fire Up Your Passion,” will feature a cadre of local and international experts on its virtual stage where they will share wealth creation pointers and give insights into personal journey to success. 

Kerry-Ann Stimpson, chief marketing officer at JMMB Group, shares, “Although we recognize the uncertainties in the global environment at this time, and 2020 has proven to be a challenging year for many individuals, one thing remains true, persons are still interested in taking their goal achievement to another level and making good on their commitment to themselves. In response to COVID-19 protocols, which restricts gatherings of this nature and encourages social distancing, we have reimagined JMMB Elevate and decided to go virtual, with the objective of helping individuals take their goal planning and achievement to the next level. The New Year is usually a time for making resolutions and being introspective, as such we want people to capitalize on this energy and fire up their passion even more, by encouraging and empowering them to be even more intentional about their financial goal achievement and taking actionable steps.  

Adding, “The event maintains its objective, of financial empowerment and inspiration, while we look forward to providing the opportunity for participants to deepen their connection with each other, in the digital space, as well as offline and will seek to challenge individuals take action now so that they can transform their vision into reality and ignite their passion.”  

In sharing what persons can expect, marketing exec, Stimpson notes, “The event will continue with its dynamic and engaging format, but will also give participants an opportunity to further engage in online activities such as scheduling an appointment with a financial advisor; visit online partners and network with individuals from the comfort of anywhere they choose.”  Each activity is specially designed to embolden individuals to take action and create a step-by-step guide towards achieving their goals, thereby levelling up for 2021. 

JMMB Learn & Vibe, will kick start the two-day line up on January 15. This session, will include: David Rose, young investor and business writer, Mark Gayle, financial analyst and entrepreneur alongside Kalilah Reynolds, executive producer of a series of financial features - #MoneyMovesJa, #MoneyMondaysJa, Taking Stock and What’s In it for Me. Also joining the line-up is JMMB’s financial expert, Andrew O’Connor, client partnership manager at the Portmore branch. The speakers will also share lessons their personal experience in the ‘investing game’ and financial opportunities, even in the face of uncertain economic times. 

This session will be followed, on Saturday, January 16, by a fireside chat with local thought leaders on the topic, ‘Take Action and Replace Fear: The Power of Now.’ Speakers will include: Terri-Karelle Reid, online brand strategist, event host and TV presenter, Scott Dunn, managing director, Dream Entertainment Limited and Lisandra Rickards, founder and CEO, Soul Career. 

International speakers, in the form of, John Henry Styles, real estate developer, entrepreneur, and investor and Stacey Flowers, entrepreneur and motivational speaker, will hit the mainstage to close out the event.

Admission to the JMMB Elevate virtual event series is free; however, interested persons will be required to register online at bit.ly/ELEVATE3. Registration details are also posted on JMMB’s social media channels, starting December 31. Early registration is encouraged, as spaces are limited. In giving insight into the registration process, Stimpson outlined “Individuals are invited to complete a short online survey, which is aimed at helping them to begin the process of introspection about their financial goals; identify any financial gaps; and be intentional about their goal achievement.” 

Shortlisted individuals will have access to the online village, during the pre-event period, which will give them access to the goods and services from local partners. This online exhibition is also in keeping with the JMMB Group’s thrust to support local small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. Additionally, this online experience is designed to give participants a chance to network and access other activities during the event lead up and during the event.
