JMMB Portmore Location to Re-Open on April 24, with Adjusted Operations
Following the announcement made by the Prime Minister of Jamaica, the Most Hon. Andrew Holness, on April 20, to revise the measures in St. Catherine; the JMMB Group will re-open its Portmore location, on Friday, April 24. The JMMB Portmore location will now serve clients with the adjusted opening hours of 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, and remain closed on Saturdays, until further advised, in keeping with the restrictions outlined, so as to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). This location will offer limited banking and remittance services.
JMMB Group’s other island wide locations remain open on Mondays to Fridays, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., with the exception of its Junction branch, which remains temporarily closed as well, with those clients being served out of the Santa Cruz branch.
In keeping with JMMB’s commitment to its clients and team, the financial institution urges clients to utilize its alternate service channels, JMMB Moneyline (for online banking) and Visa-certified automated teller machines (ATMs), to conduct transactions, in order to limit social interaction and to keep themselves and their loved ones safe. Additionally, all clients are now being asked to wear masks, while visiting all branch locations, as a result of the Government-mandated guidelines for the wearing of masks by all persons, in public spaces.
JMMB also continues to invite its clients to exercise patience and understanding with the company as, with the Government-mandated expansion of the national curfew hours, effective Wednesday, April 22, this will affect its service delivery level, including its Client Care (call) Centre and deposits made at its ATMs. The JMMB Client Care (Call) Centre’s operating hours will also change to 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., from Monday to Sunday. Senior citizens, as a vulnerable group affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, have a dedicated helpline at 876-704-3996.
Clients may visit the company’s website (https://jm.jmmb.com/covid) and social media channels, for ongoing updates, as the financial entity monitors and adjusts its operations accordingly.
In the meantime, the organization continues to implore its clients to adhere to the safety measures and guidelines put out by the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
