JMMB Combines Art with Finance 

The JMMB team at Fairview, recently hosted an invitation-only virtual Paint and Sip, for its clients with the assistance of Paint and Sip Jamaica’s Ryan Meeks and Michelle Sinclair-Doyley, manager, Group financial partnership support and financial education at JMMB. This lifestyle event was designed to provide a fun and engaging way to discuss financial planning and investment opportunities with the attendees, by tapping into their lifestyle, juxtaposing art with finance during the evening’s proceedings.

The all-female audience of doctors, saw the roles being reversed as the JMMB financial expert, gave a financial check-up and provided financial solutions and expertise to assist the clients to ensure their finances were in optimal health. 

Sinclair-Doyley, in keeping with the theme of the event, ‘Painting Your Financial Dreams,’ drew a parallel between creating your masterpiece and financial planning. Noting that the first step in the process of painting one's financial dreams is having a clear ‘picture’ or goal and the timeframe in which to create this masterpiece, in addition to a mix of tools to make this dream a reality. She further underscored that similar to creating one's masterpiece, partnership with the right expertise who can provide professional guidance will assist individuals in completing their ‘financial work of art,’ bearing in mind their unique needs, risk profile and preferences. 

This premise was tested and proven, as Ryan Meeks of Paint and Sip Jamaica skillfully guided the attendees in the creation of their masterpieces, which saw the clients adding their own creativity. At the end of the evening, the ‘rookies turn Picasso’, showed off their works of art that bore their unique style.
