A major plight of transitioning wards of the state is furthering their education, which is often blighted by little or no support, based on their limited family structure and the interventions in place to assist them to transition to adulthood.  According to reports, more than one fifth of these individuals discharged from Jamaica's child protection system (annually) have a challenge in transitioning seamlessly and pursuing higher education. 

Today, Gabriel Hall, who is also a former ward of the state, has been able to defy these odds, as one of the 93 JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation    scholarship recipients, for the 2018/ 19 academic year.

The JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation joins in supporting the fight against breast cancer by partnering with the local lead advocate, the Jamaica Cancer Society, with several of their initiatives during October, namely: Pink Day, celebrated on October 5; the yearly Keeping Abreast Luncheon on October 25; and the annual Pink Run slated for October 28, where members of the JMMB Group will show solidarity with the cause. 

The all-female JMMB Her Wealth event, which saw a few bold men, joining the nearly two hundred women in attendance, at the Audi showroom, inspired and challenged the participants to take action to achieve their financial freedom. 

The JMMB Group operations in Trinidad and Tobago, on September 12, launched the newest addition to the JMMB family, JMMB Express Finance (T&T) Limited. Through this subsidary,  the JMMB Group will be able to provide a consumer financing solution predicated on financial inclusion, a fair price and a quick response.
