As another school year draws to a close and another lays just below the horizon, hundreds of students and their parents are ‘on the hunt’ for scholarship opportunities available to assist them in meeting their financial obligations for the upcoming school year. The JMMB Joan Duncan Foundation is one such organization that annually provides over 100 scholarships for students at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels; having given over J$7 million in scholarships in the 2017/18 academic year.

The JMMB Group played host to scores of business executives drawn from local business community in Manchester at its recent (April 19) corporate breakfast; where the company’s financial experts discussed financial solutions, designed to provide winning solutions by taking advantage of the opportunities that exist in the current macroeconomic environment. 

The JMMB Group Limited (JMMBGL) yesterday (April 19) made history as the 100th security to be listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE), with the listing of its four simultaneous preference shares – USD Cumulative Redeemable 5.50% and 5.75% Fixed Rate Preference Shares and JMD Cumulative Redeemable 7.00% and 7.25%, Variable Rate Preference Shares.

JMMB Group is one of the corporate companies that have responded to the call to provide Abilities Foundation of Jamaica students with work experience, through its Work Apprenticeship Programme; which is designed to provide vocational training, in order to prepare students to function as productive citizens.
